Long-distance move from Vancouver, WA to Tavares, FL

Missing items and charged more money

Estimate from Safe Ship was $9,000. had to move out of our 3 bedroom house, 1,200sq, and put our belongings into a10x10 storage unit. The quote was for our 3 bedroom house. We got rid of most of our belongings due to cost to move them.

Oasis showed up loaded our belongings and said it would be $5,000 since we had a bigger storage unit then quoted. They refused to leave unless we paid. we moved from WA to FL. Oasis showed up in Florida, did not stack the garage how I instructed, I work remote and needed to get numerous work things done. I could not babysit as they unloaded.

They put books on top of fragile. All boxes clearly marked. They lost many of our items. I contacted once I was able to dig thru re- organize and see what was missing. We had 3 sets of golf clubs mine, the women's golf clubs are missing. We had a HUGE ski bag on wheels for air travel, 3 sets of adult ski's in it, MIA, it also has our name and email on it with a personal tag and Alaska Airlines tag on it; several boxes missing- with photos, cookbooks, spices, Halloween, decorations, a small jewelry box with 2 watches and 3 necklaces and costume jewelry in it. I took with me my good stuff. Found out one watch missing is now a collector item I had no clue, first watch my husband gave me gone, bathroom items, women's clothing, 3'vase in a box all by itself wrapped in green wrap, bubble wrap and a mickey blanket and box stuffed with bubble wrap to prevent wiggle, and I am sure other little things in boxes I will discover missing, a huge military bag with genealogy and military records in it. We also had a little damage we did pack all of our stuff and wrapped it ourselves when furniture arrived it looked like what we wrapped had been cut at the bottom it was not torn. They also charged us over $400 for supplies, all they did was wrapped our things with mover blankets, they even commented how well we packed. I had no choice but to pay.

When I contacted Oasis about all the missing items the owner yelled at me for waiting 3 days to call. He asked why did I not call the day of delivery, I told him I was working from home, I started going thru things as I had time that day, and I had to clean up the mess his delivery guys left.

I got numerous calls from a lady in the office, she said we think we found your items. that went on for several weeks, nothing showing up, and then the calls stopped and she would not take my calls, since nothing showed up, I am guessing she lied to get me to not complain.

I did get a call from a lady next town over saying she had an item of ours. I went thru what was missing. She had our military bag and said that Oasis told her to throw it away we probably made a claim and was paid. We did get it, but they told her to THROW IT AWAY! It was too big for me to pack in my car and drive across country, car was packed as it was and 2 cats.

We did make a claim, and it was denied due to Oasis "no response" Same with BBB they did a "no response" this is how they keep operating just ignore it and they can stay in business. This needs to stop I want my items, or the money to repurchase what they took. Beyond angry. They know how to play the game, make more money than what is quoted and refuse to leave unless paid.

I think the moving companies for each truck load, in order of loading, should have to supply a list of towns/cities they stop at giving it to each house on the truck. Just in case items are missing, then homeowners could at least have more info when contacting the company, since the owner has no clue where his truck drove across country, or so he says. That would at least give you an idea of where to start looking if items are missing.

They deserve -stars, seriously this should be an option.

Long-distance move from Utah to Wisconsin

Overall good!

Oasis was really good to work with premoving with planning and scheduling our move. We were frustrated when they changed our move date 3 times on us, and were late! However I was pleasantly surprised that the price ended up really being what was quoted to me which is great! And I was very impressed with the delivery men and very few items being damaged. My husband and I joked and betted on what things would break, figuring it would be inevitable. But the only thing that broke wwere one glass cup and one plastic tray..both of very litle value so it was great! Overall good service, but be flexible with pickup and delivery time.

Missing/damaged items

DO NOT USE

Estimator from Safe Ship was off by $4,000. We never got our kitchen table, and one of our storage shelves was destroyed. Luckily, we got most of our boxes (we think). We did however get a box of someone else's photos. We're working on tracking that person down.

The only thing we really cared about was an executive-size desk that belonged to my grandfather. There are a couple gouges in part of the wood, and all the fittings are missing.

I really wish I had done more research on these companies. A horrible lesson learned.

It's incredible that this company has a 1.5/5 rating at the time of this review. They deserve far less then that.

Stay away from this scammers.

Rude, lying, dishonest, irresponsible crooks. Stay away from them.
Their initial estimate is half of what you will end up paying, don't fall a victim to this scammers.
They will even tell you not to call them again once they get their money.

They pack your furniture and they will deliver you junk, of course some of your staff will be missing. I will BBB them soon.

Use anyone else! Awful!

Every single part of our move with Oasis has been absolutely terrible. The pickup driver in AZ was extremely rude and went on and on about how we lied on our inventory which was done over the phone by a 3rd party and was not our fault that it was incorrect. They didn't ever ask what size boxes we had, and the FINAL inventory was done almost 3 weeks before our actual move (again not our fault). We also paid them a huge deposit, and then a huge pickup amount, and were called the next day saying oh you have to pay the final amount NOW. I told them absolutely not, they will get the final amount when I get my things. They NEVER sent the weight ticket as promised, and I had to call customer service multiple times to get that sent to find out our final price.

When our delivery day came, the driver got stuck on a twisty road near our house and called me asking me if I could come help and help him figure out what to do. He is supposed to be a professional driver, what am I supposed to do to help him? That's ridiculous. He had someone come to our home at 7:30am to let us know he would be there in the next hour. They didn't show up until 11am.

So all the terrible, unprofessional from the drivers isn't even the worst thing. ALL OF OUR ITEMS AND BOXES ARE DAMAGED. My husband's newly painted motorcycle has chunks taken out of the paint and fenders and saddle bags. ALL of my wooden furniture is all scratched up and has pieces missing. All of my boxes are half crushed (some are totally crushed). They refused to put ANY of our furniture back together as stated in our contract. Not only that, they have no idea where any of my hardware for my items is, so I can't even put my furniture back together on my own. I have photos of the movers climbing on my gun case and boxes to reach things up high, instead of using a ladder.

DO NOT USE OASIS. FIND LITERALLY ANYONE ELSE.

Police had to be involved.

I had to involve the police/sheriffs to get my belongs. The authorities had to get involved after this company threaten me, harassed me, and blackmailed me after I gave them their final payment and forced me to try and give them extra cash in order for them to unload my belongings. They will find every excuse to not give you your things back, they will come up with penalties and extra charges and raise the cash price. If you don’t pay they take your money and belongs to their hub and force you into their trap to pay for extra storage and labor hours. Do not bother calling customer service or anyone elsewhere in their “office”, they will put you on hold and make it seem they want to help you, and then tell you they can’t do anything about it. The majority of my things were damaged and my Motorcyle broken. They will use the “claims” approach and only pay you 10 cent per pound, they wheel to in so they don’t pay you a dime.

Washington to Texas.

Arrived 4 days late, costing me $900 in airfare, car rental and dog boarding,
then tried to more than double my price at loading. So they only took 25% of my stuff and left the rest despite the bid with photos and actual dimensions of my storage unit! Then at delivery demanded cash and an extra $350 to unload 400cf of boxes (no furniture as that was left behind in Washington) holding my boxes hostage!I live on a flat level lot with no steps whatsoever anywhere. Then I start to open boxes and several were opened and half full. Half my tools also missing from my toolbox. I'm still unpacking and stopped because I was so upset and ccx angry. I feel totally scammed and ripped of by this company. They are rude and don't give a crap about your stuff or screwing you out of more money. DO NOT HIRE THEM UNLESS YOU LIKE GETTING RIPPED OFF!

Tried to extort money and broke 1/2 our stuff, took 28 days!

-The movers showed up in street clothes and a rental van and tried to extort an additional $2500 to start the move. (I had literally less items than the quoted "binding estimate" inventory list)
-I was told it would be 3-7 days(going from CA to WA) They showed up 28 days later! Again, some independent contractor in street clothes who wanted cash instead of the agreed upon money order.
-At least half of our items were very damaged. Items wrapped in blankets had holes and rips due to such rough handling. Our specially wrapped TV with foam corners, even had the corner smashed and splintered. Our dining table corner looks like someone took a sledgehammer to it. Boxes crushed, all our particle board furniture(IKEA stuff) had every joint pulled apart.
Our belongings weren't even given the most basic care or concern!
-When I called their customer service manager Kathleen and nicely asked if she could help us since we weren't prepared or expecting to wait so long, she accused me of wanting to cut in line in front of others!
**Bottom line, I can't believe in America they can get away with being such a bad business!!**.

Long-distance move from Queen Creek, AZ to Cape Coral, FL

Den of Thieves And Extortionists.

We contacted Broker (Connected Van Lines) for a move from AZ to FL. After paying a binding contract fee, broker told me who the mover would be (Oasis Moving and Storage based in Nevada) (OMS) and I was told that they were a 5 star mover. Almost immediately after electronically signing the agreement, I was told that the shipper wanted more money. After 7 or 8 changes, we finally got the final estimate, so we thought. When the driver came to the house, he stepped one foot inside and said "This is a full pack, I want $4000 more". I told him he wasn't going to get it and he called the Broker and made some kind of deal with him. We agreed to a 1/2 pack, at the time of signing and my wife spent weeks packing crystal and glass items. The truck was finally packed and left.

We flew out to FL the next day expecting the truck to show up around the weekend. It didn't. I called the Broker and asked when they expected the truck to show up, and the answer I got for the next 3 weeks was we can't reach the driver, he must be sleeping. 23 days after the truck left, it finally arrived at 6 o'clock at night. When we signed, we were told that it would take 5-7 days to get here. When I called to find out where it was they said to me "well we have 21 days to get there”.

What we found out was they (OMS) took our trailer to NV, emptied it, put our things into a storage trailer and waited until they had another run to make to FL.When it finally arrived, and they opened the door, boxes started to fall out. The boxes we bought were brand new boxes, these boxes were old, most of them crushed and 90% had been opened and resealed. I know this because when we sealed the boxes, I had everyone write across the tape at the slit as to where they were going (kitchen, bed, etc). When sealed back up, the writing did not match.

We are still unpacking boxes and are looking at thousands of dollars of damage to crystal, glass, furniture, paintings, lost furniture and stolen work and gun tools. Thats right, lost furniture, never found it like they told us they would on delivery. We have found expensive crystal vases packed into a box with frying pans on top of them, my apple desktop computer packed with a cast iron fry pan. Lampshades ruined not to mention everything else.

Both the Broker and the Shipper have breached their contracts with us and I want reimbursement for the damage created by them. Both should loose their licenses and not be allowed to do this to anyone again. It is quite a racket.

In addition to the pictures of damaged items, I have also included pictures showing the condition of most of the boxes as we received them. Note the writing on the boxes “FRAGILE”, “VERY FRAGILE”, obviously they couldn’t read. OMS does not have their customers best interest at heart.

Significant damage was caused to the wood flooring at the house we moved from by OMS. I have been told by OMS that it was our responsibility to protect the floor and that it is in the contract that they are not responsible for damage. Well first of all, I never received the complete contract to read, only the part for electronically signing, and secondly if I knew that. I never would have hired them. The way that contract reads, is that OMS isn’t responsible for damage of any kind.

When I called OMS to mention the damage to the flooring, their Customer Service Rep. started dropping F-Bombs on me and said its in your contract. When we finally got the Claim Forms, submitted the damages, and got the response from Anthem Claim Management, one of the first things they say is “we are not an insurance company or a moving co. Our services have been retained by your moving company to adjust your claim for damaged or missing property”

BEWARE, this co. works directly with OMS and will offer you 60% of the TOTAL WEIGHT not value. For Example, if they deem that the damage by pictures that you send them is 300 lbs, you will be offered $0.60 per lb, or $18.00 for your total losses.

Save yourself a lot of anxiety and go elsewhere.

Extortionists & thieves.

Do NOT hire them- they extorted me for over $2000 more than the original quote and held my belongings hostage for 16 days (was originally only a 4 hr move). They threatened to make me pay for storage when they were not delivering! 10 boxes have never shown up (which has cost me another couple thousand to replace ex: dishes, cutlery, cuisinart, pots, pans, etc - plus so many irreplaceable things - a sculpture I have had 19 yrs). Kathleen O'Shea is the most rude, awful manager- she must be a relative to still be employed there . They are doing so many illegal things - not sure who they pay to have it swept under the rug. This company should not be in business and the FEDS need to clean this up!

Do not use this moving company.

The original company moving Pro Logistics I contracted with used this company for a long distance move from California to Idaho. They never said they contract moved out. I was told it would be 3-4 days for delivery by both the original company and the Oasis Driver. It was almost two weeks and the price kept going up, 4 different times. It went from 4000.00 to over 9000.00. They held my stuff hostage until I agreed to pay more money. They took my stuff to a warehouse and held it there. When it finally arrived with a different third moving company, nearly every piece of furniture is damaged in some way.. some boxes had been opened and sealed again with tape. My fragile and expensive items I do carefully wrapped and that were clearly marked was smashed to pieces. I have thousands of dollars of damage. They will not respond so I can make a claim for damage.

The Worst Moving Comany Out There.

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST EXPERIENCE EVER.. 1. They held my property for 'ransom' after they fraudulently changed the signed contract to say we owed more money, and would not release our things until we paid. 2. They were 3 days late to pick up our belongings 3. ALL of our things were absolutely destroyed upon delivery 4. Madeline the customer service 'manager' IS A HORRIBLE person..Id call her names, but my review would be sensores. She straight told me I was trying to get services for free, when I questioned the changed contract which listed an increase of over $1000. I told her she was committing fraud and extortion, she then hung up on me. 5. We were under the impression Razor Vanlines was our mover, but they were just a 'broker' who in turn hired Oasis. 6. When I went through my belongings, I found many articles were 'missing' (stolen) and not even delivered. I would like to participate in a class action lawsuit, as I see I am not the only one who this moving company has screwed. I hope every. Last. One. Of their employees goes to jail for the crimes they commit against unsuspecting victims, hard working people who have been bamboozeled into having to have this company move them..DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY, IF YOU ARE EVEN AWARE THEY ARE BEING BOOKED BY YOUR 'MOVING COMPANY'.

Long-distance move from Phoenix, AZ to San Antonio, TX

Extortion, broken things, awful people

Hi all,

I did not expect to have to do so much research when I hired a moving company for the first time on my own. I hired movers before for an inter-complex move but not across states (from Phoenix to Texas). My story is basically the same as everyone else in here. They told me my things would be with a military family headed from Phoenix to San Antonio that weekend. It’s almost a month later and my things finally arrived 2 days ago. They increased the price on pickup by what the original estimate was (1800) and we had to be out of the apartment so what could we do. The original quote of 3600 was over what I wanted but then the new quote of 5400 was completely absurd. I had LESS items than what I was quoted for. On delivery they tried to get me to pay an absolutely bogus 800$ shuttle fee (of course in cash) and threatened to charge me 350$ a day until I paid it. I finally got them to deliver my things without having to pay because I yelled so much at the poor driver (still feel bad about).

Anyways, I want to sue these people for extortion. A ton of people have had a similar experience and I’m tired of it. I’m curious why other people have not done it yet?

Here is my plan to get back at Oasis Moving and Storage. I want to report them to the IRS.

https://www.irs.gov/individuals/how-do-you-report-suspected-tax-fraud-activity

Read the reasons and among them you will find “unreported income”.

“Use Form 3949-A, Information Referral PDF if you suspect an individual or a business is not complying with the tax laws. “

They demand extra cash for hostage cargo and I’m sure they aren’t paying taxes on it. They have been doing this since 2008(?). The more people we get to report under the table money fees, the better ... let’s DO something about this awful, fraudulent company.

I plan to report them today. It can be huge fines and years in prison.

For any questions, please email me:

Legoloco47@gmail.com

I hope other people who have already been scammed read this. Let’s do something about it!

AWFUL!

I felt bullied on the phone for more money ($1,500) after signing a contract... he made comments like "you want to assure the move goes smoothly, right?"

They were a day late saying that the truck broke down which I found out was a lie. I'm missing 5 boxes and a lot of my things were destroyed. Including water damage which I have no idea how that happened..I didn't pack liquid! I have pool table legs (very expensive) that aren't mine and when I realized it about an hour after they left i called him and he said.. "they'll have to make a claim like everyone else". I paid well over 10k for this move and sooo disgusted. Two antique dressers have holes in the bottom and broken drawers. My granddaughter's barbie toys all broken. I sent an email with pictures and explained all that was broken as instructed and then I received an actual claim form. They seem to manipulate to save time on their end and it's so frustrating!

Recap... they demanded more money, broke almost every single glass item, two wet boxes that included my daughters books and bibles which were destroyed, missing boxes that I'll never get back,

I have things that aren't mine, etc.

This entire process started through Gold standard movers, they subcontracted oasis out. I recommend not doing business with either of these companies.

I pray that you don't have to go through what I am, and may God bless your move.

DO NOT HIRE THIS COMPANY

If there was a -1 star, that would be my rating. This company takes no accountability for their lack of competency. As indicated by several reviews, they jack you for additional money and threaten to hold your personal property hostage if you don’t pay extra costs added on when they pick up of deliver. They demand that you to sign a form that your property is in the same shape it was in when it was put on the truck (before they unload it) so you can not really tell) or they shut the truck door and prepare to take off with your items. They also hired third party people to deliver our property from they storage. When the third party arrived to deliver our property and opened the truck doors. I almost cried. Our mattresses that were supposed to be wrapped ( as the do not use mattress covers) were torn, black with soot and dirt and unwrapped. Out boxes were battered and broken open and thing were scattered. The two women who came in the delivery truck hire two men to do all the moving from Craigslist (gigs). Nice guy, but inexperienced- just the muscles for the move. This third party (Marie) took no responsibility for the conditions of our goods stating “that’s how it came off the truck and how I picked it up from the warehouse”.

NEXT STEPS: I will be filing several complaints with this company and the broker Moving Direct who insisted they ONLY hire the best movers for their jobs. They are negligent. They also get a complaint. The details of my experience are are not all in the review as I will save this for my formal complaints.

If you experience situations with a move carrier - uses sites like this to share; however, per my attorney, file formal complaints with federal and state agencies so they can launch formal investigations into the conduct of these companies that give the moving business a poor name.

Long-distance move from Nevada to Missouri

Thieves, Reckless and destructive, Liars

We contacted Empire Movers thinking they were movers, NOT!!! Brokers Stole $3500 hundred for their service of bait and switch. What a joke!!! They turned us over to Oasis Movers out of Las Vegas unknown to us. These flakes showed up with one 35’ truck to load a 3 bedroom house. They had to send a second truck the following day. After the trucks were loaded we then find out they were Oasis Moving. $20,000 dollars to move us from Carson NV to St Charles MO.

We were having a new home built so it wasn’t yet ready. I was told that storage would be $1100.00 per month in a climate control storage. After 28 days being in storage they called me and told be it would be $2900.00 month storage. So I had them take our belongings to St. Pete MO to store in a storage facility. Our son and daughter in law met them there. It was raining and dark and they could not see what condition the furniture was in.

That storage unit stayed close for 5 months. To our dismay our furniture that had been fully wrapped was not wrapped now. Our Lazy Boy leather chairs were dragged and the leather was bruised and rashes. They dragged our expenses furniture that left chunks of wood missing with cracked and broken wood. Our mattress’s no longer had mattress covers and they had been dragged and filthy with water stains. It has been a very hard discovery of all the broken and damaged furniture, plus all the missing furniture. My husbands new shop vacuum, and all his shovels and rakes and snow shoved gone, brand new Dyson vacuum that was still in the box GONE. Clothes and shoes of mine missing. Kitchen appliances destroyed or missing. Box with a Louie Vuitton purse along with my Michael KOR shoes and dress clothes Gone.

All the beds were damaged, all the mattress were damaged and dragged in dirt and water. Three empty 5 gallon propane tanks missing. Our dining set damaged and missing the nuts and bolts to put it back together. All the boxes that had fragile were smashed. Coffee maker, a $1000.00 latte maker cracked and broken.

Pantry food gone. It’s like they went shopping and opened our boxes. Had someone else mail in one of of our boxes with some of our things.

Worst move, most expensive move ever.

We are in our 70’s and on a fixed income and can’t replace a lot of the stuff damaged and missing. NEVER NEVER NEVER USE OASIS MOVING COMPANY.

They are modern day pirates, they destroyed, damaged and thieves.

I hope Gods Strikes them with his Rathe. I hope God destroys their company. I hope what they have done to us is done to them.

There is NO FORGIVENESS for people who deliberately destroy and steal from others.

If anyone who knows a great class action attorney we need to sue them.

Destroyed Family Heirlooms

First off, I didn’t contract with this company but got shafted by Imperial Freightlines who contracted them to move furniture from CA to IL. They damaged every piece of family heirloom antique hand carved furniture they shipped; breaking legs off the dressers and shattering the hang carved vanity seat as well as scratches and other pieces broken off. They also broke much of my aunt’s hand made pottery which I inherited after she passed. I filed a claim but apparently they get to decide the amount and it supersedes what was agreed with when speaking with Imperial Freightlines. DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! Long-distance move from Las Vegas, NV to Denver, CO

SCAM! Do not use!

SCAM! If I could give 0 star I’d definitely do that. Moving from Las Vegas to Denver originally quoted at $1,850 ended up paying double. Was told that it’d take 18 days for our stuff to reach Denver so we paid $500 expedite fee to have it within one week. On the day of the pick up, the guy who picked our stuff said that 1 week includes weekend and holiday so it for sure will be within 1 week and they will contact us time to time to keep us posted. NO contact was initiated at all, we had to call them first and asked where our stuff was and it came almost 1 week later than what was promised. We had to pay almost $1,000 extra for a hotel room.

When arrived, they asked for an additional $500 for them to change from u haul to a box truck which was not mentioned beforehand. Our stuff was not handled with care AT ALL! All the boxes were ripped and upside down. Our couch lost one of the legs, the chair is broken and we lost our lamp.

Few days later we called to file a complaint and expected to get $500 expedite fee back because it came late and they did not give a damn at all. Madeline was very very rude. I work in hospitality and this is the first time I ever encountered someone who could be really rude on their job. She kept on saying that we shouldn’t have listened to the guy who delivered the stuff cause he is only a “delivery guy” so he doesn’t really know. How?!! He was the one explaining the agreement and conducting the important stuff. She even raised her voice to us and HUNG UP just like that. Not even a single apologetic word came from her. There’s some more behind this and I wish I could speak to someone further about this but they probably get these kind of complaints a lot that they don’t care anymore. ABSOLUTE SCAM.

Long-distance move from Maryland to California

Never use Oasis.

NEVER, EVER use Oasis Moving and Storage -- for long distance moves, a local move or even to move a chair from one corner of your living room to another.  I contracted with Oasis for a long distance move.  They do not commit to a secified day to move you when you contract with them.  Instead they give you a two-day window.  Odd, but that was fine with me in this case, though having moved perhaps a dozen times over the years, I never before had this kind of requirement. As the moving date neared, I could not seem to get a commitment from the company on the actual moving day. One can imagine the hassle of not knowing which day you'd move.  In my case too, I was not able to be at the originating location and needed to arrange for a freind to meet the movers.  Without a reasonable advance notice, I could not make the necessary plans on my end for the move.  By the way, Oasis was fully aware of my requirement in this regard too. After many, mnay calls and emails to Maurice at Oasis, they finally notified me just 18 hours before the scheduled move that the truck would not be there on the appointed day.  Instead, they would come the following day.  At that point I cancelled the move concerned that if it's this difficult to schedule the move, getting my goods across the country in one piece at the agreed upon price would be next to impossible.  The customer representative I spoke to to cancel the move (forget her name) was rude, argumentative, unsympathetic, and unhelpful. To add insult to injury, the dispatcher in Maryland called to confirm the move day (not for the original day) AFTER I told Oasis I was cancelling the move.  When she learned I wanted to cancel the move, the dispatcher called back and told me that they could be there on the orignal day I wanted afterall.. So as it turns out they could have done it when I wanted. By now, dealing with them was such a bad experience I had no interest in doing the move with Oasis.  I am seeking a refund of my deposit through my bank.  Don't know if I will get it yet, but I am convinced I saved myself a lot of grief and added expense by cancelling the move anyway.

Long-distance move from Arizona to Virginia

Watch out for these guys!

I've moved over 20 times over the years and this was by far the worst experience I've had.
First I was not told my move would be subcontracted out.  I understand this can happen - but I asked the guys who I originally contracted with (Duntara Moving) and they indicated that they were going to do the move.  Wrong.  An outfit from Oasis showed up and I had to sign all new documents (after reviewing the Duntara contracts in detail) at the time of my actual move.
Second was what I discovered at delivery.  But first - what must have happened while I was on the first floor doing some final packing while the packers were on the second floor disassembling (which the contract said they would do) my bed and desk.  Unfortunately the did not know how to take the furniture apart and instead of asking me for assistance (I've move these pieces 3 times already with no problem) they proceeded to take them apart using brute force.  Why use a screwdriver when you can rip the furniture apart.  Needless to say - totally ruined.  I only discovered this damage when the items were delivered - not a word by the packers.  They busted the furniture, picked up the broken wood and put it in drawers and wrapped everything with blankets.
Next was trying to figure out delivery.  At pickup they said my items would be on a truck heading east by the end of the week. Knowing that this is likley done just to make me feel better and is not a commitment - I called Oasis Customer Service and asked them.  Over three weeks I was told the move was underway and I would hear anytime from the driver about the delivery.  After 3 weeks of this I was told by another CS rep that I was not given the facts and the truck was leaving the following week.  The truck finally showed up after 30 days and I discovered the quality work of the packers.  Only good thing was the guys who delivered the items.  They truly seemed to feel bad and understand they worked for a company that did not care about it's customers.
I'd avoid these guys.  And watch out if you get subcontracted! .

Worse Move by This Company.

The worse moving experience. Broken furniture, chairs with no legs, scratched and dented some beyond repair. Broken dishes and Iladro statues that they packed.  We were lied to and deceived.  Our furniture came by cargo on a train which we were assured would not happen due to the damage it can cause.

Oasis has poor customer service.

We got a quote from Oasis that seemed reasonable, however, the cost went up by $1400 once they got all our stuff on their truck. What ddo we do then.. We emailed Oasis with a very generous delivery schedule request.  Oasis replied to the delivery request, saying nothing about a delay. The delivery agent told us they would not deliver our stuff for up to 14 working days after we had requested it although there was no mention of that whenwe asked for the delivery. The delivery agent was a complete [EDIT], no customer service skills.  It took them 22 days to get our stuff delivered.  That cost us an additional $2600 in motel and food costs. We had to spend over $4000 extra because Oasis does not care about its customers they are in it for the quick gotcha.  Use another company these folks are not reputable.
